Winter Ski & Sledding Trails
All-day trail passes are available for $7.00 per person at the Cold Water Canyon Clubhouse, where all of our trails start and end. Our three new trails are for beginner and intermediate levels. Our new Tidd Tech grooming systems makes for both free style and classic skiing adventures.
Trail # 1 – Intermediate Level
Trail #1 is a completely wooded setting with lots of wildlife. Groomed for both free style and classic style skiing, a few uphill and downhill runs make Trail #1 the longer and more challenging of our three courses. This course is our owner’s favorite!
Trail #2 – Beginner Level
We call this 2.5 mile trail the “Deer Crossing” trail, as our population of whitetail deer is seen here almost daily.
Trail # 3 Beginner–Intermediate Level
Trail #3 is set amidst our original golf course (built in 1906) and river canyons, surrounded by the 100-foot Norway and White pines that tower over our landscape. The scenery is simply amazing. This trail is groomed for both free style and classic track and is 3.1 miles in length.
Cross Country Skiing is open on Saturdays from 9:00AM-4:00PM. For more information, please call the Clubhouse at 608-254-8489 and follow the prompts to speak to an associate. You can also view and download our brochure by clicking here.
