Notification of cancellation must be received by 11a.m. 3 days prior to your arrival date to receive a refund of your deposit. All reservations will be assessed a $30 cancellation fee per reservation. A cancellation number is necessary for a payment refund. Changes in arrival and departure dates require 3 days advance notice prior to your arrival date.
All personal checks must be received 3 weeks prior to your arrival. NO personal checks are accepted upon arrival at the resort. For advanced check payments, please write your reservation number and arrival date on the face of the check. All checks must have a pre-printed name, address and account number for acceptance. No post-dated or two party checks will be accepted.All payments should be mailed to:

Please do not send cash! Purchase orders will be accepted if received 10 days prior to arrival. Accounts are due 15 days after departure. Cancellations received 3 days or less, prior to the arrival date, are billed for the first night’s lodging plus tax.
We do accept reservations to be paid for by guests who are not staying with us. We do require that any non-guest wishing to submit payment for another guest on their behalf use our Online Credit Card Authorization Form, which can be found, and submitted online here.

We do allow outdoor grilling in our new Grilling Pavilion, located in the front of the Rio Condo Building. There are several gas grills available with utensils available. Please note that it is a first-come, first served policy and we kindly ask to please try and clean up after you have used the grills as best as you can. These grills use gas, not charcoal or pellets. If you need assistance with the equipment in the grilling areas, you can contact our Guest Services Department by texting 608-708-6591.
There is no charcoal grilling allowed on property, and there is no grilling allowed in any other areas on property due to local city ordinance.

If you decide to change your method of payment at anytime, Chula Vista Resort will process a refund to your card that day, but funds may not be released to your account for up to 5-7 business days. Chula Vista Resort is not responsible for the loss of use of these funds or any possible overdraft charges.
Deposits or prepayments only guarantee room availability. The rate, tax and additional charges quoted are subject to change without notice.

Reservations are held with your advance deposit of one night’s lodging charges plus tax per room reserved. If the deposit due has not been received by the deposit due date, the reservation will automatically be canceled. If a modification to your reservation occurs, the required deposit may change. By placing a deposit, you here by agree to the terms of our cancellation policy. Reservations made inside the cancellation period require advance payment of the first nights room and tax and are non refundable.
A sports reservation may NOT be changed within 14 days of the arrival date. The only exception to this is if additional nights or people are added to the reservation. If the reservation is cancelled inside the 14 days cancellation period, guest will forfeit their full deposit. Deposits on cancellations made inside the cancellation period are non-transferable to another guest or current reservation. Any sports reservation that is changed within 30 days of their arrival will incur a $25.00 per night change fee. (EX: If room is reserved for 3 nights and changed to 2 nights, guest will incur a $25 fee charge. If a reservation is changed from 3 nights to 1 night, guest will incur a $50 fee charge.)
Infants & toddlers still in diapers and children not yet potty trained MUST wear swim diapers whenever using the pools. An adult must accompany children under the age of 13. For your convenience we recommend that guests bring their own pool towels. Note: State code 8.21 does not allow food or beverage from your room to be carried into any of our indoor or outdoor pool areas.
