There are plenty of options when it comes to hiking in Wisconsin Dells and the surrounding communities.

Wisconsin Dells is named after The Dells – so naturally, our first hiking spot on the list is the Dells of the Wisconsin State Natural Area. Located right down the road from Chula Vista Resort, this hiking spot is perfect for you and your pup without traveling far from your room.

A little further down the road to Baraboo, WI, you can hike through popular Devil’s Lake State Park. According to the Wisconsin DNR, “Devil’s Lake State Park’s bluffs are part of the Baraboo Range, which scientists believe were formed 1.6 billion years ago, making them one of the most ancient rock outcrops in North America.” If you love chasing waterfalls, don’t forget to stop at Parfrey’s Glen in Devil’s Lake State Park which features a small waterfall.

Keeping along with the historic hikes throughout the area, not too far from Devil’s Lake State Park, you can stop at the Ice Age National Scenic Trail in Portage, Wisconsin.

Myrt and Lucy’s Chat & Chew, 701 Broadway, Wisconsin Dells, is another pet-friendly location in Wisconsin Dells. You can even bring your well-behaved dog inside the restaurant with you.

Another great pet-friendly spot right down the road from Chula Vista Resort is River’s Edge, 30 County Road A, Wisconsin Dells. River’s Edge lets pet owners eat at outdoor tables, weather permitting, according to BringFido.com.
