Accounts Payable

- Prepare accounts payable invoices, adjustments, and credits for processing and enter them in the computer.
- Answer incoming phone calls for the accounting department.
- Review invoices and ensure that we are properly recording sales taxes.
- Print computer checks for accounts payable and enter hand written checks into the computer.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Assist in preparation of 1099s
- Print various reports as needed.
- Consistently show the ability to recognize and deal with priorities.
- Meet deadlines for time-sensitive activities.
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with guests and the entire staff.
- Perform all other duties that may be deemed appropriate by the CFO.
Education
- High school diploma required.
- 2-year accounting degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
The ability to work with other people effectively in a staff position is important. Must have the ability to think creatively regarding solving problems as they occur. Attention to detail, accuracy, good judgment, and confidentiality are a must.
