Head Out On Wisconsin Cross Country Ski Trails At Chula Vista
What To Know About Our On-Site Trails
Before strapping on your skis, you’ll want to stop by the Cold Water Canyon Clubhouse to purchase an all-day trail pass. Once you’ve done this, you’re set for a day of fun exploring the beauty of our three runs, all of which start and end at the clubhouse.
- Trail #1, found in a completely wooded setting, is ideal for those with more experience cross-country skiing. The uphill and downhill make this run not only more challenging than other trails but also longer. It is groomed for both classic style and freestyle skiing.
- If you’re new to this sport, Trail #2 is your best option. Referred to as the “Deer Crossing” trail, the 2.5-mile course is known for being the spot of almost daily whitetail deer sightings.
- Trail #3 is perfect for skiers of any level. This option is surrounded by White and Norway pines that cover the landscape of what was once the original golf course. Groomed for freestyle and classic tracks, this trail is just over three miles long.
Our cross country ski trails are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, call 608-254-8489.
